BONNE TERRE – Norma June Fox, age 94, of Bonne Terre, Missouri, passed away on April 23, 2024. She was born on July 5, 1929 in Des Moines, Iowa, to Helen Irene (Morris) Hutchison.

On August 4, 1990, she married Ronnie (Ron) Fox in Topeka, Kansas.

Norma graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1952. She loved gardening, writing and helping people. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Bonne Terre, Missouri.

Surviving family includes her husband, Ron Fox of Bonne Terre, Missouri; four sons, David Palmer and wife Lisa of Wimberley, Texas, Guy Palmer and wife Dianne of Pullman, Washington, Ross Palmer and wife Darcie of Fort Collins, Colorado, Evan Palmer and wife Tami of Oakland, California; stepdaughter, Alina Aqeel and her husband Adeel of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Abra Palmer, Aaron Palmer, Daniel Palmer, Joy Palmer, Oliver Palmer, Sam Palmer and Aashir Aqeel.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur K. and Helen Irene (Morris) Hutchison and brother Kenneth Hutchison.

The memorial visitation will be held at CZ Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. until Celebration of Life Service at 12 noon, with Rev. Patrice Rosner officiating. The private inauguration will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery in St. Francisville, Illinois. in lieu of flowers or other arrangements, donations may be made to Planned Parenthood, Bonne Terre Food Pantry or a charity of your choice.
