FSU baseball offseason thread: Transfer portal, MLB Draft selection moves

The Florida State Seminoles baseball team fell short of the ultimate turnaround story with a loss in the final four of the College World Series. And despite their elimination jabs, the season was a big win overall. The 26-game improvement from 2023, the second-place finish in the ACC Tournament, the CWS run – the Seminoles appear to have righted the ship under Link Jarrett.

However, as the Noles enter the 2025 season, they will have major holes to fill as they attempt to repeat this season’s success. We’ll be following all the comings and goings of the offseason as Florida State looks to reload.

Departure

Although the MLB draft has not taken place, two Seminole standouts are expected to be selected in the first round. Other Florida State underclassmen may also be drafted, and they will have to decide whether to leave early or lose signing power to the draft pool.
