American International CollegeSpringfield MA

  • American International College (AIC) held its 139th graduation ceremony May 11 at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, honoring more than 600 graduates of the class of 2024. Kelly Aznavourian of South Windsor received a Master of Education degree in English as a Second Language program. Enid Rivera Pratts of South Windsor received a Master of Science degree in the forensic psychology program.

Eastern Connecticut State UniversityWillimantic CT

  • Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its Dean’s List for the Spring 2024 semester. It commended more than 1,200 students for their high GPAs.
    The students included South Windsor residents Nicole Leyner, Kyle Berson, Elise Clark, Ali Ezedine, Lindsay Fishman, Aaron Matus, Sarah Mazzaro, Melissa Poinelli, Emma Thibedeau, Jessica Vieira and Matthew Vnuk. To qualify for the Dean’s List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

Emerson CollegeBoston MA

  • Two South Windsor students were named to Emerson College’s Dean’s List for the spring 2024 semester. Olivia Trzaski is a creative writing major and a member of the Class of 2026. Lorina Sediqi is a communication studies major and a member of the Class of 2026. The requirement for being named to the Dean’s List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

James Madison UniversityHarrisonburg VA

  • South Windsor resident Gina Bretz has been named to James Madison University’s President’s List for the spring 2024 semester. Students earning President’s List honors must complete at least 12 graded credit hours and achieve a GPA of 3.900 or higher. Bretz studies anthropology.

Le Moyne CollegeSyracuse NY

  • Adria Dias, a psychology major from South Windsor, has been named to the Le Moyne College Spring 2024 Dean’s List. To make the list, students must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

State University of New YorkPotsdam, NY

  • Ryan Dunia of South Windsor was recently named to the President’s List at the State University of New York at Potsdam. Dunia, who is majoring in music education, was one of 727 students honored for academic excellence in the spring 2024 semester. To receive the honor of being on the President’s List, each student must have completed 12 numerically graded semester hours with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Stonehill CollegeEaston MA

  • Jamie Brunelle, a member of the Class of 2027 from South Windsor, has been named to the Spring 2024 Dean’s List at Stonehill College. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher and have successfully completed all courses in which they were enrolled.

University of Rhode IslandKingstonRI

  • The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the Spring 2024 Dean’s List. South Windsor students who made the list are Lia Pendergast, Sean Woods, Hannah Sweet, Dominic Russo, Riley Castle, Owen Jeram, Samantha Wunsch, Sam Meleshenko, Josh Weiner, Zachary Richard, Kylie Correale, Jamie Peters, Katelyn Drenga, Summer Bauer, Abby Peruccio and Wade Violette. To be included on the Dean’s List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades applicable to the GPA for a semester and have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.30.
