10 best suits from the 2024 nba draft

To kick-start their professional hoops journey, this year’s rookie class headed to the NBA Draft in beautiful, custom-made suits.

Over the years, the NBA Draft has produced some memorable looks. As the young hopefuls enter the next chapter of their careers, like any good old job interview, they show up in their best suits to show off their style, or simply celebrate their roots by telling fashion stories.

With another NBA draft on the horizon, let’s take a look at some of the suits that stood out in this year’s rookie draft class. Do you see any killer looks?

Fourth overall pick Stephon Castle joins Wemby and Spurs in this stunning black and silver suit with matching castle necklace with his initials. With all due respect, we may have just gotten an all-time NBA Draft pick from the Spurs’ newest signing.

Former Providence guard Devin Carter exuded confidence in this powder blue suit that he boldly accessorized without an undershirt. This is just another fashion-forward take on a classic style for the newest Sacramento King.

It’s safe to say that Ja’Kobe Walter should have just been a Toronto Raptor, as he opted for a purple suit with subtle floral motifs for his next chapter. Who knows, maybe this will inspire the team to reintroduce the color purple into their current identity, right?

With a mix of textures, Detroit’s Ron Holland II has certainly established his suit as one of the best in this draft class. Through the rookie, we may have just discovered that gemstones and a crocodile skin-like pattern might just find a way to work together.

Alexandre Sarr

Another French lottery pick, Alexandre Sarr, opted for a simple tan double-breasted suit when he was drafted by the Washington Wizards. You can never really miss going for a more timeless approach, something the Frenchman is probably well aware of.

For newest Sixer Jared McCain, it was all about being chic in this all-black Dolce and Gabanna suit, highlighted by a cropped jacket and some gold accessories. We also have to give a shout out to the former Blue Devil’s black nail polish, because he really went all out with his look!

Rob Dillingham

Shimmering patterns take center stage on Rob Dillingham’s custom NBA Draft suit. Even more impressive than the appearance is Dillingham’s personal involvement in making this piece a reality.

The devil is in the details for Tristan da Silva’s red and black NBA draft suit. A great example of fashion storytelling: Da Silva’s suit has an inner lining that celebrates his Brazilian-Bavarian roots, as well as his alma mater, the University of Colorado-Denver.

Yves Missi

Baylor’s Yves Missi also goes for an understated chic look in the NBA Draft, with a dark blue suit accessorized with a brown belt and light gold chain. There’s also the inner lining of his suit, which features a map of his native Cameroon, and a lion, both of which feature gold accents that elevate his overall look.

Tidjane Salaun

Last but not least is Tidjane Salaun. Like his compatriot Alexandre Sarr, the Hornets’ sixth overall pick goes a classic route, rocking a dark blue double-breasted suit with good old pinstripes.

Although unlike Sarr, Salaun opted to go one hundred percent classic, instead adding a gold chain in place of the tie.
