Monopoly Lifesized heads to the US as a touring experience

Hasbro and the Path Entertainment Group are taking the Monopoly Life-size attraction to the US as a travel experience.

The touring version, called Monopoly Lifesized: Travel Edition, was announced by London-based production company Path Entertainment as part of a licensing deal with toy and game company Hasbro.

Monopoly life size The experiences include a life-size board that teams of players can navigate through and participate in challenges to acquire property, earn money, pass, and go to jail.

David HutchinsonCEO of Path Entertainment, said: “Since we opened our first London location in 2021, audiences have loved Monopoly Lifesized – with more than a quarter of a million guests enjoying the experience in Britain.

“Since then we have grown into the Middle Eastand now I’m excited to expand the joy and love for the beloved board game by launching the U.S. debut Monopoly Lifesized: Travel Edition in Denver, a destination passionate about interactive experiences.”

After three years in London, the theatrical and immersive concept will open in Colorado in October 2024, hosted by the Off-Center division of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

Following this, the experience will make its way across the US on a multi-year tour.

Immersive experiences from Hasbro

The Path Entertainment Group recently announced an expansion of its license with Hasbro to include Dungeons & Dragons and Clue/Cluedo. The company also recently opened one Paddington Bear experience at London’s County Hall.
