“Theatre has the power to influence and inspire people to create change through the arts, and that is what we all need right now.”

“Art can heal, and art can change you. It has changed us. So come on and join us!” they ended.

LEAVING THE TONE

In early February, Kandi announced she was leaving the Real Housewives show.

During the red carpet event for the Grammy Awards, the star opened up to Variety and explained her decision to step away after fifteen seasons.

“I’ve decided I’m not coming back this year,” she said.

“A friend of mine said, ‘Why do you keep doing it?’ And I thought, ‘Well, I guess because I’ve been doing it for so long. It feels weird to think about not doing it?'” the TV star admitted.

“So I was like, ‘You know what? I’m going to take a break, I’m going to take some time.’

“It’s been fourteen seasons and they’ve left us hanging a little too long,” Kandi continued.

‘But at that time I was busy with a lot of other things.

“And I have some pretty big projects coming up soon. So I’m super excited about those things,” Kandi concluded.

A source close to the situation told People that Kandi was asked to return to the show, but she declined their offer.

The TV personality met her husband while filming the reality show.

Todd also served as a producer on the Bravo show.
