ATLANTA – Four people suspected in a supermarket shooting have been arrested after a high-speed chase involving a Tesla. WSBTV reports this.

All four fleeing suspects were already out on bond for other crimes and have extensive criminal records, according to records obtained by WSBTV.

Dash camera and helicopter videos show the Tesla driving away from a pursuing officer at a high rate of speed. The suspects, dubbed “Besties in a Tessie” by APD, were driving recklessly, driving the wrong way into traffic and nearly hitting a pedestrian.

The driver tried to flee on foot, but was quickly apprehended by police. According to the report, a gun was found in his pants leg.

The remaining suspects were taken into custody without further incident. According to the report, all four suspects are being held in the Fulton County Jail without bond on numerous charges, including aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and gang charges.
