Video forecast for Saturday morning

A front approaching the area will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms later today and early Sunday. After the front passes, a significant drop in temperature and humidity is expected.

Today & tonight: Another warm and muggy day is expected with highs in the mid 80s. As a front approaches the area, a few showers and thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and evening. As we move into the overnight hours, the front will pass completely, increasing rain coverage and dropping temperatures. These temperatures should drop into the upper 50s before daybreak.

Next one: After the front passes, an upper level disturbance will move through the area early Sunday morning. Because there is still plenty of moisture, numerous showers and thunderstorms are possible. Most of the rain will clear around lunchtime, while the rest of the day will be dry. Temperatures will struggle to leave the 60s throughout the day. In the evening clouds even start to break.

Much cooler and drier air will result in lows in the low 50s on Monday and Tuesday, while highs will be in the upper 70s and low 80s, respectively. Some high clouds will mix with the sky early in the week. The expectation is that most of the working week will remain dry.
