How to watch LSU baseball vs. Missouri in Game 2 on Saturday

There’s still a lot more work to be done if LSU wants to get its season back on track, but Friday night’s Game 1 at Missouri was a good start.

The Tigers’ bats finally woke up and the pitching held their own as they dominated Mizzou in a 12-1, run-rule victory. Now coach Jay Johnson’s team has a chance to secure its first series victory in SEC play in Saturday night’s Game 2.

Luke Holman takes the mound for LSU after an impressive start to Gage Jump on Friday. The Tigers hope their top pitcher can lead them to a series victory.

Per an LSU release:

“We are the reigning national champions and therefore certainly have a high level. I really believe we have good players and our schedule was tough. We expect to win every match we play, but it was difficult. The opponents we have played against, especially on the road, make it difficult in some areas of the game. We look forward to the second half of the competition and the 18 remaining games of our regular season. What I will commit to is being extremely positive towards our players and communicating with them at a high level. Clearly the season isn’t over yet and the story isn’t written yet. All our players want to develop, and they definitely want to win, and our coaching staff is going to give them the best we have.”
