Prince Harry will say “final farewell” to royal life in Britain next month after enduring the “last straw” with his family, a royal expert has claimed.

During the week it was revealed that the Duke of Sussex had changed his primary residence from the United Kingdom to the United States, backdated to June 29, 2023 – the same day Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had left. their former residence in England, Frogmore Cottage, where they returned the keys at the king’s request.

More than a year ago, in March 2023, after the Duke of Sussex’s memoir Spare hit bookshelves, it was revealed that King Charles had asked his son and wife Meghan Markle to leave Frogmore Cottage. And this left Harry “furious”, a royal expert tells us exclusively.

And as Harry prepares to return to Britain for an event next month, it is claimed this will be the Duke’s final “farewell” to royal life and his former homeland. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, royal expert and author Tom Quinn said: “Harry will speak at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on May 8 to mark the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games. The Games were founded by Harry when he was a child. he works royally, so there is no pressure to make him give up now.”

This comes after Mr Quinn told us Harry had made it through the “last straw” when he and Meghan were evicted from Frogmore Cottage. “At the time, few people realized how much of a slap in the face being expelled from Frogmore felt to Harry – it was the final straw,” he told us. The Mirror has contacted representatives of Prince Harry and Buckingham Palace for comment.
