Mountain Hawks end season with 4-0 loss to Boston University in Patriot League semifinals

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Lehigh women’s tennis capped its historic season with a 4-0 loss to Boston University in the Patriot League semifinals Saturday morning at Navy. The Mountain Hawks, making their first semifinal appearance since 2018, finished their season with a 14-8 record, tying the program winning record set in 1988.

The Terriers opened the match and won 2 of the 3 doubles matches. Anushka Dania And Mega Dania were in a close 4-3 battle with Kaitlin Tan and Emily Zhao for second place doubles before Boston University won the first point.

The Terriers earned singles victories at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 1 to secure the win. Maggie Forkner was the only Lehigh player to win a set on Saturday. Playing at No. 2 singles, Forkner won the first set 6-4, dropped the next set 6-3 and trailed 1-0 in the final set before Boston University took the win.
