Severe thunderstorm over northeastern Montgomery County, near Cecil. It is moving toward Macon County as it moves east-northeastward into Macon County at 30 miles per hour. It will be near Tuskegee before 6:30 PM

The National Weather Service in Birmingham issued a notice

* Severe thunderstorm warning for…
Southwestern Macon County in southeastern Alabama…
East-central Montgomery County in south-central Alabama…

*Until 6:30 PM CDT.

* At 5:46 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm occurred near Waugh, or 11
miles southwest of Milstead, traveling east at 30 mph.

DANGER… 60 mph gusts and quarter-sized hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT… Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding and trees.

*Affected locations include…
Tuskegee, Shorter, Franklin, Liverpool, Cross Keys and Cecil.
