Jesse Love claims first NASCAR career win as Richard Childress’ rookie reigns supreme at Talladega

Rookie Richard Childress Racing driver Jesse Love earned his first NASCAR Xfinity Series victory at Talladega Superspeedway. The 19-year-old driver had to earn this victory the hard way in double overtime, trying to fend off drivers from both the inside and outside lanes. Despite his lack of experience in the Series, he played his cards right and took his car to victory lane.

In his last two Superspeedway races at Daytona and Atlanta earlier this season, Love was only able to finish #20 and #12. However, he made progress with his consistent top-10 and top-5 finishes, which ultimately resulted in a big win for him. Meanwhile, Ryan Sieg, who had a heartbreak last week in Texas, will take home a nice $100,000 payout as the Dash4Cash winner, finishing the race in 17th.

This is a development story.
