Teen arrested for assault and reckless driving in Montgomery County Park

BOYDS, MD – A 19-year-old was arrested after a series of dangerous actions and an attack at Germantown Recreational Park in Boyds, Montgomery County. The teen, identified as Khojasteh, was driving a white 2021 Audi A5 with a Virginia license plate reading “TRYLOL.” The incident occurred on April 10 when Khojasteh and others allegedly performed “doughnuts” and drove recklessly in the parking lot of the Soccer Plex.

When confronted by a park employee, Khojasteh reportedly brandished a handgun and pointed it at the staff member before fleeing the scene. Montgomery County Park Police attempted a traffic stop shortly after the incident, but did not pursue Khojasteh as he drove away.

Khojasteh was arrested a week later, on April 17, during a joint operation between Park Police and Montgomery County Police. He is charged with charges including first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm in a violent crime, fleeing police and numerous related traffic violations. Previous citations from Montgomery and Worcester counties indicate a history of reckless driving. No further arrests have been reported in connection with the incident.
